Clients have the right to appeal any decisions issued by the Alliance For International Accreditation (AIA).
A written notice of intent to appeal must be submitted and received by AIA within 7 (seven) days from the date the decision is received.

All appeal requests will be referred to the AIA Appeals Committee, appointed by the Board of Directors. AIA is required to provide the committee with supporting evidence to substantiate its original decision.
Any decision issued by AIA will remain in effect until the appeal process is concluded and a final outcome is determined.
The Appeals Committee’s decision is final and binding on both the Client and AIA. Once a decision has been issued, neither party may submit a counter-claim to amend, revise, or change the outcome.
If an appeal is successful, the Client may submit a claim to AIA for reimbursement of reasonable costs or other documented losses incurred.

The final decision on the appeal will be issued no later than 30 (thirty) days from the date the appeal request is received.
